Organic coconut oil for pleasure and vitality
The oil is mechanically pressed from fully ripe coconuts, produced in such a way as to preserve its nutritional value, and is naturally unbleached and unrefined. Therefore, its advantages include not only a subtle coconut flavor, but also its nutritional value. It provides, among other things, medium-chain fatty acids such as lauric acid, the rare microelement selenium, antioxidants, and is free of cholesterol and trans fatty acids.
Coconut oil is a pure, natural vegetable oil ideal for everyday use and for oriental cuisine and wok cooking. Coconut oil is extremely versatile. Its natural composition makes it stable and highly resistant to high temperatures, which prevents the formation of trans fatty acids during frying or baking. As it does not spit or burn, it is ideal for frying, deep-frying and baking.
Although coconut oil contains many saturated fatty acids, these are largely medium-chain fatty acids, known as MCTs (medium-chain triglycerides). Almost half of the fatty acids in coconut oil are lauric acid. It is the most digestible of all saturated fatty acids and a wholesome and nutritious component of breast milk.

For frying, baking, deep-frying and stewing, and even for spreading on bread. Our organic coconut oils are a versatile alternative to oil, lard, butter and margarine, and also give dishes a subtle coconut flavor. Organic coconut oil is solid at temperatures below 24°C. At higher temperatures, it becomes liquid. No need to store it in the refrigerator!

Coconut oil is a real treasure trove of saturated fatty acids: lauric acid, myristic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid, and linoleic acid. Coconut oil contains about 50% lauric acid, which is also found in breast milk.
